Marmaya

This beautiful family run hotel Marmaya is unique in its kind, directly located at the private beach with a restaurant overviewing the ocean. The hotel can only be accessed through a 5 minute boat ride over the river and through the mangroves, which gives every guest the immediate holiday feeling and makes the 10.000 m2 of the property a very safe area.

The hotel includes 5 swimming pools, 8 bungalows (for up to 8 people) and 20 rooms (for up to 6 people) all including airco and private bathroom. Next to that there is the big restaurant (rancho) which also perfectly serves daily visitors who come to enjoy the amazing ocean view and the private beach. Next to the current buildings there is space on the property to build more and expand the hotel.

The whole area is also very suitable for big groups, like weddings, surf competitions and company get togethers. Because the hotel is far away from any other houses organizing events or festivals are also among the possibilities.

Guests and visitors can enjoy the different fresh saltwater pools, relaxing under the palapas, do a river tour through the mangroves which is also perfect for fishing. The ocean in front is absolutely perfect for surfing with strong waves throughout the year. In the right months the local turtle farm can provide tiny turtles for the guests to release into the ocean, an activity that is always highly appreciated by our guests.

The hotel is located close to the center of Sipacate, a 2 hour car ride from the capital on the perfect newly renovated road. There is a big parking lot (11.000m2) which can hold more than 100 cars, from where guests can enter the boats (lanchas).
